    How good can I expect my car to look when finished?


    Your car will look as new as possible. We cannot make a 2014 Cherokee look like a 2022 Mercedes, but we can make it look as close to showroom condition as possible. With the Full Detail, your car is cleaned top to bottom, we shampoo the carpets, seats and floor mats (no headliners), some stains may be too set to remove, interior dying is than an option, ask your Mobile One representative about interior dying referrals. The exterior is washed, a paint cleaner is applied, and than 2-3 layers of wax are applied. If scratches in the paint cannot be removed with paint cleaning, we may recommend compounding, if that does not work, repainting may be necessary. If necessary, we can recommend a body shop to repaint your car. We take pride in making you car look it's best, if for any reason, we missed something on your car, please let us know. Customer service is our # 1 priority.


    We care about the planet, so we will NOT clean engines. The oil run off hurts the environment, damages engine components, and in many cases it is illegal.

  • What will a detail cost me?

    The term "detailed" normally refers to a complete detail inside and out. A full detail normally costs between $255 and $295 depending on the size of the vehicle. If you were interested in only having the inside of the vehicle detailed, it would only cost between $180 to $210. We even have services starting at $145. The people that detail cars for an unusually low price, do so because they don't spend the time to learn how to detail a car properly, are not using quality products, and or are short cutting. We are fully insured and spend time every month training our employees on new and improved ways to detail your vehicle. You will see the value when you use Mobile One, we guarantee it.


      

  • How much time will a Full Detail take?

    Because Mobile One sends a 2 person crew to detail each car, the time we need your car is normally, no more than 2 hours. We know your time is valuable, so we have, normally 2 people working on your vehicle at a time. There is no need to be without your car for an entire day. We can have you back to your normal routine in no time.

  • What type of products do you use?

    You can taste a difference when using quality ingredients in a meal. You can also see the difference when quality products were used to detail your vehicle. Mobile One uses Zymol wax; P21S paint products, Valugard, Auto Magic and Production Car Care chemicals, and other high line detailing products. Does it make a difference? Oh yes. Zymol wax leaves a shine like no other, and will not leave any residue in your moldings, or rubber trim. Our paint cleaners are pH balanced to clean you paint without damaging it. Our chemicals that prep the paint, are also pH balanced to clean, not harm. Many cleaning products are so harsh; they damage the paint while cleaning. Paint is like skin in a way, it has natural oils that need to be protected, not stripped away. We only use products that better your vehicle.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

    We schedule all appointments from our main office in Kensington MD. You may call or e mail us, and we will schedule a time. We are normally scheduling a few days in advance.

  • Can my car be detailed while I am at work?

    Yes, Mobile One can detail your vehicle in your driveway, street, or office outdoor parking lot. We have a water tank, generator, and all the supplies necessary to clean a vehicle in almost any setting. If you want your vehicle done at your office, you will need to contact the building management and get their permission for us to come on the property. We can supply them with any necessary insurance certification that they request.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Once we take a reservation, we hold that spot open for you. That appointment is now unavailable to someone else, if you must cancel your appointment, we ask that you tell us within 24 hours, so we may be able to put someone else in your time slot. If we are not given at least 24 hours notice, you will be billed a $40 cancellation fee. 

  • Gift Certificates

    Mobile One offers gift certificates for any occasion. You can purchase a certificate for a particular service or for a dollar amount. We may be biased, but a Mobile One gift certificate makes a great gift. Please note, certificates do expire after 12 months from date of purchase. Click here to purchase
